TransportProfit.eu
A digital project for carriers who want to know their real costs, price per kilometre, standing time, margin and the threshold below which it doesn't pay them to drive.
TransportProfit was built from ELITCargo's own practice. It helps small and mid-sized carriers better understand whether they really earn on a shipment, or whether they're just hauling cargo below cost.
Open TransportProfitYou drive, you invoice... but do you really know if you're making money?
Revenue isn't profit. A truck doesn't run 365 days a year. There are downtimes, service, holidays, vacations, empty kilometres and weaker months. Fixed costs, however, keep running.
TransportProfit shows you the real cost per 1 km, per 1 day of standing and per whole month of operation. So you don't go below cost just because the truck is moving.
What TransportProfit solves
Carriers see how much vehicle operation actually costs per kilometre based on their own costs.
The calculator works with costs that run even when the vehicle stands still, as well as with costs tied to driving.
It shows how much one day of vehicle standing costs and how downtime affects the company's result.
Helps reveal whether a specific shipment or monthly performance brings profit, or whether the carrier is subsidising the customer.
The most expensive kilometres are the ones that look profitable.
If a carrier doesn't know their costs, they'll easily accept a price that seems reasonable at first glance. The problem shows up at the end of the month, when invoicing grows but there isn't enough money in the account.
Who TransportProfit is for
For companies with one or a few vehicles that need a clearer view of their costs.
For calculating tractor + trailer costs, price per kilometre, standing time and the monthly result.
For companies that run vans and need to know the minimum price per trip and the vehicle's cost base.
For companies that operate their own vehicles and want to know whether keeping transport in-house pays off.
BASIC shows fixed costs. PRO shows real profitability.
TransportProfit has two levels. BASIC works as a quick audit of a vehicle's fixed costs. PRO goes deeper and also calculates variable costs, margin, profit or loss, standing time and the scenarios that decide the real economics of transport.
TransportProfit BASIC
A quick calculation of a vehicle's fixed costs. It shows how much the vehicle costs even when it isn't moving, and the minimum price needed to cover fixed costs.
- fixed vehicle costs
- price per 1 km for fixed costs
- daily cost when standing
- a simple audit of vehicle economics
TransportProfit PRO
A decision-making tool for the real profitability of transport. It calculates fixed and variable costs, margin, downtime, empty kilometres and the result in profit or loss.
- fixed and variable costs
- price per kilometre and per day
- margin, profit or loss
- simulations and management outputs
BASIC shows how much the truck costs you, even when it stands still. PRO shows whether you're really earning on a trip, or subsidising the customer.
A project from real transport practice
TransportProfit wasn't built behind a desk. It came out of the daily reality of a transport company, where what matters is the price per kilometre, fuel, tolls, driver wages, service, downtime, empty kilometres, payment discipline and margin.
- Real experience from international transport
- Focused on costs, margin and cash flow
- A practical output for a carrier's decisions
The goal of the project isn't a pretty chart. The goal is for the carrier to know where their money is leaking.
